All sounds produced by a baby/children's cello which was my travelling companion for many years. Portable, versatile and slightly comical it was ideal for use with live sampling electronics for improvised solos, theatre shows and even accompanying my voice; from delicate to brutal, melodic to intestinal, rhythmic to abstract.
I had other cellos but this one was easier to manipulate on stage, good for feedback and for amplifying other objects, allowing scope for some physical rapport to offset the life-draining effect of onstage laptops.
